Solace Treatment Center

Preparing for residential treatment is a big step—and packing with intention can help you feel more at ease. At Solace Treatment Center, we want your stay to be as comfortable and focused as possible. Below is a recommended packing guide to help you bring what you need while leaving distractions behind.

Identification & Documentation

Please bring the following items for intake and medical coordination:

- Government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, passport, etc.)

- Health insurance card and any pharmacy cards

- List of current medications, dosages, and prescribing doctor

- Relevant medical records or treatment history (if available)

Toiletries & Hygiene Products

Only bring new, unopened items when possible. All personal care items must be alcohol-free and non-aerosol.

-Toothbrush, toothpaste, floss

-Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash

-Deodorant (non-aerosol)

-Feminine hygiene products (if applicable)

Medications

Please bring any prescribed medications in original pharmacy-labeled packaging. Over-the-counter items must also be sealed.

- Prescribed medications and supplements

- Copy of prescription list with dosage/frequency

- Inhalers, EpiPens, or other critical medical devices Note: All medications will be reviewed by our clinical team upon arrival.

Snacks & Comfort Items

While meals and snacks are provided, you’re welcome to bring a few comfort items:

- Sealed, non-perishable snacks (granola bars, trail mix, etc.)

- Favorite pillow, blanket, or small comfort object

- Personal items that aid in emotional regulation (e.g., stress ball, coloring books)

Clothing & Laundry

Pack for comfort and modesty. We recommend a 7–10 day supply of clothing.

- Weather-appropriate outfits for indoor/outdoor use

- Activewear for walks or fitness activities

- Sleepwear and bathrobe

- Undergarments and socks Closed-toe shoes and slippers

Personal & Creative Items

These can be great tools for reflection, relaxation, or inspiration during treatment.

- Notebook or journal

- Books (non-triggering, recovery-friendly themes preferred)

- Art supplies (colored pencils, sketchpad, etc.)

- Photographs or mementos of loved ones

- A small amount of cash for vending machines or incidentals
